“When you’re being asked to grow a direct channel, you need additional budget. And to get additional budget you’ve got to make sure that you get the best return on investment for that budget. So increasing our conversion rate was key for us, and why we got the experts in.

“So we had predominantly a partnership business. It was doing very well, but we needed to strengthen our mix by looking at more direct business, so we needed to increase our position in the search engines, through pay-per-click, organic results, and increase our conversion rate as well.
